Helloooo, neighbors! Welcome, everyone, to We're Still Here. Officially, the game doesn't open until December 1st, but we still wanted to give you guys a chance to get to know one another. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, share your contact info if you so desire, and mingle with your new neighbors before the real fun begins in a few days. We, as mods, would also like to use this space to address a few points about what to expect in December as well as how our next application round is going to pan out. Firstly, We're Still Here's first month is going to be a plot-heavy month. December is a crazy time for all of us, and we realize that not everyone will have the time to devote to roleplay, so we've decided to make the event a low stakes one and split it up into two halves with the first part beginning the day the game opens and running until the 15th, and the next half picking up right after that and running until the 25th. An announcement and plotting post will be going up in a few days. At the end of the month, we'll post a recap for the event that will also function as a public discussion where you can ask questions and provide the mod team with feedback. Secondly, since December will be a plot-heavy month with January being a relaxed month, this means that January will be our next application round. Not including potential drops, we will have seven slots available for new players. We will post a reminder announcement on the mod plurk as the date draws closer. Additionally, we will also be posting a new TDM in January for the new application round. For exact times on all of these dates, please refer to our calendar. And that's all! Break out your best gifs and get to mingling!

I'M SO EXCITED honestly; Wrathion won't have too bad of a time with Dadwolfe—he dgaf if he stays up until sunrise he's not your babysitter you make your own decisions and live with the consequences of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He may get snappy at him if he's causing too much trouble though!

Also it's so good I super super recommend it to anyone and everyone; I didn't want to go into too much detail in my top-level but it's all about the centralization and corruption of power and found families and just. UGH. IT'S SO GOOD.

It's true, nobody's really prepared for Papyrus. Loud, theatrical, ridiculous - if not quite as silly as fandom osmosis tends to focus on.

Are there any wikis or references you'd recommend for me to get a sense of Kiara? The first couple search results I saw are focused on game stats, rather than lore or personality.

I figure there's plenty of time for figuring out how the day to day goes, but I want to give a preview based some things we see of Papyrus's ideas of housekeeping in Undertale:
- presentably clean public spaces, with some crap in the couch
- passive aggressive sticky notes (mostly for Sans)
- flame decal carpets
- rearranging the sink into a 6'+ tall cabinet, to fit a doorway (and maybe tunnel) underneath

The good and/or bad news is that Sans lives just next door, so the brothers will be continuing their nonsense, going back and forth frequently.

Dear god, I cannot wait to interact with this guy and watch the resulting storm lmfao Sans is the type of person that would absolutely drive Wolfe crazy. Wolfe here is very studious and very severe and people not taking things seriously is a one-way street to being on his bad side. (Which to me says that obviously it needs to happen, but that all depends on how you'd feel about it too!)

ANYWAY THOUGH Anduin sounds like he's a sweetheart; I can't wait to see him in game! Unfortunately Wolfe is kind of a prickly jerk, but I'd love to see how the two of them play off of each other!

It is, I agree that far: one pair absolutely increases coolness levels. The part where Papyrus goes awry is taping cardboard cutouts of muscular arms to his visibly skeletal physique, and then putting sunglasses on them, as though the coolness increase will go up with each pair of sunglasses. They could do science to test, but as a layperson, I'm pretty sure coolness doesn't work that way.

Honestly, high key excited to see how Peter does with Dean (bit of a disaster but okay hair) and Leonardo (inventor!) for housemates.

Papyrus is on another street, but they're bound to interact sooner or later.

And that's even more fun to be honest, whether the characters start writing each other off or no, we have the power to make them need to interact anyway.

Would you say it's more fun for him to hassle the people easily annoyed, or the ones who take a little effort to get under their skin? Because just hearing this and my little bit of AoT knowledge, I look forward to seeing Archer piss off Levi.
