Helloooo, neighbors! Welcome, everyone, to We're Still Here. Officially, the game doesn't open until December 1st, but we still wanted to give you guys a chance to get to know one another. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, share your contact info if you so desire, and mingle with your new neighbors before the real fun begins in a few days. We, as mods, would also like to use this space to address a few points about what to expect in December as well as how our next application round is going to pan out. Firstly, We're Still Here's first month is going to be a plot-heavy month. December is a crazy time for all of us, and we realize that not everyone will have the time to devote to roleplay, so we've decided to make the event a low stakes one and split it up into two halves with the first part beginning the day the game opens and running until the 15th, and the next half picking up right after that and running until the 25th. An announcement and plotting post will be going up in a few days. At the end of the month, we'll post a recap for the event that will also function as a public discussion where you can ask questions and provide the mod team with feedback. Secondly, since December will be a plot-heavy month with January being a relaxed month, this means that January will be our next application round. Not including potential drops, we will have seven slots available for new players. We will post a reminder announcement on the mod plurk as the date draws closer. Additionally, we will also be posting a new TDM in January for the new application round. For exact times on all of these dates, please refer to our calendar. And that's all! EXCITING TIMES M8S!! big hello to everyone! i'm jabbers and i'm bringing to you one (1) bastard man from the fx show archer! archer here is the title character who i've apped from around the middle of the most recent season, season 11. if you're unfamiliar with the canon i urge you to check out my opt out and permissions posts because he is a complicated dude who can be kind terrible to be around a lot of the time.

archer is an incredibly skilled secret agent who has the kind of narcissistic infuriating ego you really don't want him to be able to back up, but he unfortunately can. everything always works out for him in canon, so he'll expect the same here! i'm sure you can already guess how that will go

GOD i'll admit i'm mostly canon blind for undertale (i'm a scrub who needs to play it more and get used to the dang combat system) but i am 50000% into this... god i can't tell if archer will end up hating pap or respecting him for being so resilient

That's fair, I am mostly canonblind for Archer, just seen some clips and gifs around online - but Gabbie's description of Venture Bros plus Mad Men, with spies conveys a lot

Undertale's a relatively cartoonish world in some ways - most characters mean well - but it has enough awful stuff going on that we can toss the characters at games like this

I get the sense Archer's opinion will depend a lot on how the actual early interactions go, so that'll be fun to look forward to!

i enjoy archer in the few eps i've watched but that might mostly be his voice actor?? h. jon benjamin has the sexiest voice ever and i kinda hate it because it makes characters like bob belcher kinda attractive to me.

anyway, now that i've provided that tmi, i'm excited to see ya boy around! i'm certain peter will either be impressed or annoyed by him. maybe a mix of both!!!

HONESTLY..................... h jon is kind of like patrick warburton, right? he only has One Voice but it is The Voice. also i've seen some interviews and he seems to be a pretty solid dude, 5 stars on voice actor yelp from me

god poor peter... so archer would know peter parker/spiderman because he likes comics (though seems to prefer xmen, nerd) and will ABSOLUTELY just think peter is a cosplay enthusiast. like even if he is literally standing upside down on a ceiling

Oh god, Archer is one of those shows that I've never watched but always been curious about and I absolutely want CR with him please!! I'm playing a very cynical, surly research scholar named Wolfe who will probably both hate and grudgingly respect Archer, unless I miss my guess. Archer will definitely remind him of himself in his younger years, so THAT'LL BE FUN FOR SURE
