Helloooo, neighbors! Welcome, everyone, to We're Still Here. Officially, the game doesn't open until December 1st, but we still wanted to give you guys a chance to get to know one another. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, share your contact info if you so desire, and mingle with your new neighbors before the real fun begins in a few days. We, as mods, would also like to use this space to address a few points about what to expect in December as well as how our next application round is going to pan out. Firstly, We're Still Here's first month is going to be a plot-heavy month. December is a crazy time for all of us, and we realize that not everyone will have the time to devote to roleplay, so we've decided to make the event a low stakes one and split it up into two halves with the first part beginning the day the game opens and running until the 15th, and the next half picking up right after that and running until the 25th. An announcement and plotting post will be going up in a few days. At the end of the month, we'll post a recap for the event that will also function as a public discussion where you can ask questions and provide the mod team with feedback. Secondly, since December will be a plot-heavy month with January being a relaxed month, this means that January will be our next application round. Not including potential drops, we will have seven slots available for new players. We will post a reminder announcement on the mod plurk as the date draws closer. Additionally, we will also be posting a new TDM in January for the new application round. For exact times on all of these dates, please refer to our calendar. And that's all! Break out your best gifs and get to mingling!

Hello everyone! I'm Marlowe, here with Nie Huaisang, who is the weakest of the gay Chinese wizards from that show about gay Chinese wizards (The Untamed - it's on Netflix! and youtube! and viki! You should watch it.) His info/permissions is here.

All he wants is to wear pretty outfits, paint pretty fans, and read porn all day, seriously these are his hobbies, but now he's here in the future trying to deal with hair dryers and polyester, and discovering his new life ambition: to be a trophy wife who does not have to deal with monsters. He's a coward crybaby very poorly equipped to deal with physical horrors, despite coming from a canon with monsters and necromancy, but he's not terrible at bureaucracy and research if bribed.

Hiiii! I really loved our thread in the TDM, oh my gosh. Daylight is an adult so, alas, he's not a kid but we can just say they're buddies if you want? Their whole jello escapades are one of my favourite threads ever on the TDM.

Super excited to be in a game with you again, ahhhh! Really hyped to see Okuyasu in the game and hope he and Daylight get to thread. Also one day you and other JoJo players must explain the lore to me because:

It might be hard work, but it's the kind of hard work that's clearly needed and also distracts them from their own happiness, all the better to keep them at it!

And yes, encouraging holiday cheer and decorations will be just the thing. After how important those jack-o-lanterns were, clearly there'll be some protective measure in the Christmas decor. Besides, it's just not a winter celebration without a maze of snow walls in the front yard.

(I will check it out, see if it's available anywhere I can get to easily - I've still got a Netflix account, and I know a little about sailing the seven seas. I still very strongly remember how well Mother Knows Best summed up so much of the dynamic there, so I can imagine the songs get at a lot of other significant plot & character notes)

The parent thing is a new development, though Papyrus at least had been considering adopting the next human child to happen by, so he's a little more braced for it. He can offer some hot tips, extremely paraphrased from more sensible things Toriel once told him?

Oh man, I'm feeling excited for the pending cr for Papyrus and the Tangleds. Good tonal matches, familiar themes, maybe even some M/M and F/F solidarity.

I've played from X-Men before so I definitely get comics.

I am really hype for Phantasm though (it's been years and she's finally here), that's why I wanted to finally catch up. And Future State definitely looks neat, for sure.
