Helloooo, neighbors! Welcome, everyone, to We're Still Here. Officially, the game doesn't open until December 1st, but we still wanted to give you guys a chance to get to know one another. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, share your contact info if you so desire, and mingle with your new neighbors before the real fun begins in a few days. We, as mods, would also like to use this space to address a few points about what to expect in December as well as how our next application round is going to pan out. Firstly, We're Still Here's first month is going to be a plot-heavy month. December is a crazy time for all of us, and we realize that not everyone will have the time to devote to roleplay, so we've decided to make the event a low stakes one and split it up into two halves with the first part beginning the day the game opens and running until the 15th, and the next half picking up right after that and running until the 25th. An announcement and plotting post will be going up in a few days. At the end of the month, we'll post a recap for the event that will also function as a public discussion where you can ask questions and provide the mod team with feedback. Secondly, since December will be a plot-heavy month with January being a relaxed month, this means that January will be our next application round. Not including potential drops, we will have seven slots available for new players. We will post a reminder announcement on the mod plurk as the date draws closer. Additionally, we will also be posting a new TDM in January for the new application round. For exact times on all of these dates, please refer to our calendar. And that's all! Break out your best gifs and get to mingling!

Hi everyone! I'm Melly (GMT +8, brackets preferred but will match my partner) and I'll be bringing in my original character, Daylight vis Lornlit.

Daylight is from a sci-fi setting set in the 2100s, where one of the key events of this universe is an intergalactic civil war that spanned for centuries and across planets between his father's species. He has strong ties to the war thanks to his parents and has a Lot of Plot Stuff going down in his background but Day has learned to take it all in stride after having some Panics and Pains over it.

He's bright, cheerful, and always up for some adventures if there's a promise to it. He tries his best in whatever he does and he believes in his friends no matter what, though his experience over the last few years has tempered him to be a bit more level-headed and sensible. This situation he finds himself in is a big ?????? moment but! He'll do his best to work along with the others and figure out the mystery + hopefully get back home in one piece.

All he wants is to wear pretty outfits, paint pretty fans, and read porn all day, seriously these are his hobbies, but now he's here in the future trying to deal with hair dryers and polyester, and discovering his new life ambition: to be a trophy wife who does not have to deal with monsters. He's a coward crybaby very poorly equipped to deal with physical horrors, despite coming from a canon with monsters and necromancy, but he's not terrible at bureaucracy and research if bribed.

Hiii, all! I'm Phee, and I'm bringing one Leonardo da Vinci from that gacha game that overtook a franchise, Fate/Grand Order! She's been taken from just before Part 2 kicks in, for reasons that... are probably obvious to the canon familiar.

For those who aren't canon familiar, yes, this is supposed to be The Leonardo da Vinci. Historically in canon, Leonardo da Vinci was still a man in life, just like all known artistic depictions. She just decided she'd rather look like a hot anime Mona Lisa when she was summoned, so now she does! And she's not going to want to let her beauty get tarnished even amidst terrible things, so she's in for a fun time in 1960's Horror Suburb.

Anyway, she's not just slightly narcissistic now that she's in a body that represents her vision of ideal beauty. She's also every bit the remarkable genius in both scientific and artistic fields the history books say! She's spent quite a bit of time in a more modern era, between about 2016 and 2019, and overseen (and occasionally participated in) operations across various eras in human history, with plenty of spooky shenanigans too. She's as prepared as she can be for this! She might be a little inappropriately quirky (and just flat-out inappropriate) from time to time, though... which will honestly be the easier parts of playing her, why did I pick the literal ultimate genius to play...

Hello, everyone! I'm Trystan and I'll be bringing you Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan. Erwin is a military commander of a ragtag group of soldiers called the Survey Corps, who he just recently led to their, and his, deaths in a suicide charge. He's handsome, charismatic, super manipulative, and secretly really depressed. His canon puts him roughly in the 1800s, so he's going to be fascinated by all the technology of the 1960s, and eager to learn how to drive a car. It's not that different from a horse, right?
