Helloooo, neighbors! Welcome, everyone, to We're Still Here. Officially, the game doesn't open until December 1st, but we still wanted to give you guys a chance to get to know one another. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself, share your contact info if you so desire, and mingle with your new neighbors before the real fun begins in a few days. We, as mods, would also like to use this space to address a few points about what to expect in December as well as how our next application round is going to pan out. Firstly, We're Still Here's first month is going to be a plot-heavy month. December is a crazy time for all of us, and we realize that not everyone will have the time to devote to roleplay, so we've decided to make the event a low stakes one and split it up into two halves with the first part beginning the day the game opens and running until the 15th, and the next half picking up right after that and running until the 25th. An announcement and plotting post will be going up in a few days. At the end of the month, we'll post a recap for the event that will also function as a public discussion where you can ask questions and provide the mod team with feedback. Secondly, since December will be a plot-heavy month with January being a relaxed month, this means that January will be our next application round. Not including potential drops, we will have seven slots available for new players. We will post a reminder announcement on the mod plurk as the date draws closer. Additionally, we will also be posting a new TDM in January for the new application round. For exact times on all of these dates, please refer to our calendar. And that's all! Break out your best gifs and get to mingling!

Hi all!

I'm Steve and I'm bringing in Kiara Sessyoin from Fate/Grand Order. She's got a convoluted story, but the short version is she was a therapist, then got possessed by a demon, almost ended the world, got stopped, and is still kind of a potential world ender, whoops. Still, she's friendly enough, and getting to know her almost definitely comes with way less chance of things ending badly than it does back home! So that's a plus! Probably!

Definitely looking forward to dealing with her adjusting to not having her weird powerset and the technology being about a good 60 years older than what she's used to. Should be fun!

Hey there, I'm Steve, I remember you from Empatheias! Really excited about Archer being here. You and the others were amazing on the TDM and that's a fantastic journal name for him too.

Heyyyy everyone I'm Bon!! I'm bringing in someone from the universe of Final Fantasy XIV! The player character, who in this case is this original guy named Takame Kesi! His app is here if you wanna read up a little about him, but long story short: Emotionally Stunted Pseudo-Dragon Man goes on a journey to find himself and somehow ends up as the hero of light and darkness.

He's a good person, but he's kinda scarily stoic and extremely stiff. And also a huge pushover. Like ask him to jump off a cliff and he would if he knows and likes you kind of pushover. But if he doesn't like you (which is kind of hard to achieve you must be a REAL DICK) he will not hesitate to break your arm. But he'll try not to since that's not very nice.

He's kind of a mess. And also not a Pseudo-Dragon Man right now, just a regular... very tall (6'7) blonde dude. Feel free to add my plurk over at bonpuns!! I'm super excited to play him here.

Hey everyone!

I'm Inky, 33 years old and from Germany (GMT/UTC+1 / CET), soul irrevocably sould to the Void (aka my black cat).

I'll be bringing you the angel Castiel from Supernatural. While Castiel is a wavelength of celestial intent that has existed since before matter (yes, he's older than dirt), he is wearing some devout tax accountant's body as a vessel. He's a soldier who learned to love humanity, even though he is constantly exasperated by it. Last thing he knew, he died and was so determined to stop being dead that he annoyed an eldritch entity into kicking him out of the angel afterlife - except instead of going to the afterlife, he ends up, well.... here.

Castiel has a Permissions/CW/Opt-Out Post. While of course he currently has none of his canon powers, I'll add powers-specific opt outs whenever he regains something.

Hellooo yall! I'm Drizz and I'm bringing in Cassandra from Disney's Tangled: The Series. You know, the one about the hair? Just celebrated its tenth anniversary?? Yeah, that one.

Cassandra is Rapunzel's former lady-in-waiting who manages to be her almost complete solar opposite. She's blunt, snarky, has a passion for swords and kicking ass. And she's also coming from after the series finale so spoilers are likely, but the gist is that she's been through.... some pretty traumatizing stuff (as disney is one to do). But she's good now! It's fine. She's stronger than she's ever been before, and making the most of her life!

At least, she was before turning up in 1950s suburbia.
