Oh god this entire event is just. Wolfe is going to be so grumpy the entire time. This man does not have the Christmas spirit (hell, he doesn't celebrate it!) and he doesn't want to participate.

On arrival, Wolfe is probably going to be super confused for a little bit because he was supposed to be going to Philadelphia? This is not Philadelphia. And this place has printed books. And televisions—what the actual hell are these. There's gonna be a lot of culture shock going on and I'm totally into him running into people as he tries to get his bearings/the lay of the land! He'll be pretty much living at the library for a little bit; the First course of action will definitely be to learn as much as he can about where they are and the history (and once he realizes it's an AU, the history of the entire world because how much has changed). Catch him wandering the town, at the library, generally skulking around and being a sourpuss!
Similarly, he'll probably only be at the tree-lighting ceremony because the library closed early and the librarian wouldn't leave him alone until he agreed to go—unless something else shakes out; I'm down for anything!
Probably the worst of it for Wolfe will be the Christmas village, which he won't be able to avoid because why in the world would I give him an easy out? Thankfully in spite of being from Alexandria he's experienced cold before, so rather than being completely taken off-guard he'll just scowl and wish for some vodka to warm up with and probably flash back to Earlier Days. I'll be trying to probably more push him to interact with people in the village here, since he won't care to participate in any of the activities.
At the gala, Wolfe will show up to get a feel for any authority figures in the town, expecting that a gala will hopefully be less regimented and less likely to result in suspicion. This is one instance where he might be willing to band together with people, as it's easier to pass unnoticed in a crowd! He might get a little looser-lipped with application of wine, but odds are he'll still be pretty locked down. It's going to take a little bit of time for Wolfe to believe that this isn't a trap where he's one wrong move away from death! (Yes, I apped One Of Those... please bear with me through the beginning where he's just Suspicious of anyone and everything.....)
While I expect that Wolfe's CR will likely lean negative at first, I'm completely open and okay with that and happy to do anything with anyone! Hit me up and we can figure out a way to make stuff happen :) Either here or at journeys is good.
